Transform America A Practical Proposal for Churches, Colleges & Parents
Currently, about 100 Christian universities & colleges educate a total of 200,000 students a year. If the colleges held classes in local churches, 4.5 million students could be educated and discipled, at a fraction of current costs.

America became a light to the nations because major Christian denominations established universities that produced leaders for every sphere of society. America is now declining because secularism, which is incapable of imparting truth, hijacked education in the 20th century.
What If . . .
What if - your church helps students earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree through a unique program that equips them to think critically, seek truth, love
their neighbors, discover their calling, and acquire skills as servant-leaders?
What if – this learner-centered curriculum were developed by teams of leading scholars in
partnership with those who understand (a) effective pedagogy, (b) the most useful technologies, and (c) the biblical worldview that transforms individuals and nations?
What if - this curriculum were offered free online while students compensate the local church and partnering colleges for the cost of administration and materials?
What if - for-profit and non-profit organizations partner with local churches to provide students
with practical, vocational training and placement?
What if – full-time Academic Elders were to mentor 12-15 students each and professors
met with students online?
What if - students lived with their parents or deacons, learning life-skills, serving the needy in
their local community, and devoting one semester to study in another culture?
What if – technology made teaching and learning possible in both real-time as well as
non-synchronously, enabling students to work part-time or take care of family responsibilities,
while earning credits for applied skills?
What if - students visit university campuses for intensive training that cannot be imparted
online or in local environments?

This initiative to disciple America will produce:
- Transformed graduates, equipped to be servant leaders in their preferred vocations, taking responsibility for neighbors and creation.
- Transformed local churches, empowered by students’ creativity and energy, discipling the nation as centers for learning, cultural creativity, and service.
- Transformed Christian universities, mobilizing the vast reservoir of intellectual resources available in local communities. Online lectures will return time to faculty for study and research.
- Transformed communities, proactively training future citizens: spending less but offering college education and practical skills to many more students: the private sector shouldering greater responsibility, limiting government, reinforcing personal liberties.
- Transformed culture returning to the only available source of truth – God’s revelation – and reopening the American mind to what is true, good, and beautiful!
