Peter Randewijk was born in The Netherlands and lives in Switzerland. Theologian in training at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Leuven, Belgium, he has served as youth pastor with the Free Evangelical Church of Geneva. After this he was engaged for more than 15 years with community development among the poor and needy, especially in South America and french-speaking West Africa.
Through his involvement in the developing world Peter discovered the importance of a Biblical worldview for a nation’s development. He has a passion for history and has studied extensively the impact of the Bible on the development of both Switzerland and The Netherlands. He regularly speaks on the Swiss Reformation as well as the impact of Abraham Kuyper and Neo-calvinism on the shaping of The Netherlands. Some of his research has been used in Vishal Mangalwadi’s book ‘this book changed everything’ –volume 1. Research for volume 2 is ongoing.
Peter currently serves on the board of the Evangelical Alliance in Lausanne, Switzerland and is member of the executive team for YWAM (Youth with a Mission) in french-speaking Switzerland, which oversees multiple missionairy training centers in the Lake Geneva area. When not studying, writing or teaching he loves to hike in the Alps. Peter and his wife, Vanessa, have 2 children in primary school.
