Dr Jenny Taylor is Research Fellow in Media, Communication and Journalism at the Kirby Laing Institute for Christian Ethics in Cambridge. She studied journalism on the job with Yorkshire Post Newspapers; missions at Selly Oak Colleges; and has a doctorate in sociology of religion from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, on Islam and secularisation. She wrote Faith and Power: Christianity and Islam in ‘Secular’ Britain with Lesslie Newbigin and Lamin Sanneh; and as former CEO of Lapido Media, pioneered religious literacy in the mainstream media in Britain.
